Goldsborough Creek Restoration Shelton, WA
This restoration project entailed removing Goldsborough Dam to promote fish passage through this reach of Goldsborough Creek. The 30 foot high dam was replaced by a series of approximately 36 weirs along a 1,850 foot length of the creek to provide grade control and encourage fish access. Stream diversion was installed to bypass the normal streamflow around the construction area for the duration of the project.

The contract provided for the improvement of NW Myhre Road with the replacement of a bridge over Clear Creek and flood plain enhancements located in the Silverdale vicinity of central Kitsap County. The work consisted of two schedules, Schedule A, Roadway Improvement and Schedule B, Flood Plain Enhancement. Work for Schedule A consisted of Preparation, Grading, Drainage, Storm Sewer, Structures, Surfacing, Hot Mix Asphalt, Erosion Control and Planting, Traffic Safety and Control and related work. Work for Schedule B consisted of Preparation, Grading, Drainage, Structures, Surfacing, Erosion Control and Planting and other related items.
