Salary: $14.00 – 17.00 an hour depending on qualifications.
Stan Palmer Construction is one of the North West’s largest earthmoving and underground utility contractors. We complete many small projects each season, but specialize in large-scale mass grading work, roadway construction and underground utility installations as well as industrial treatment plants for sewer and water.
Stan Palmer Construction offers Intern positions for college students interested in careers in civil engineering. If you are majoring in Civil Engineering, we invite you to apply for this opportunity to become a Field Engineer Intern with Stan Palmer Construction, one of the North West’s leading heavy civil contractors. Interns will have the opportunity to develop, participate and learn key roles and functions within construction project management operations.
Required Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a Civil Engineering degree.
Must be willing and able to travel and relocate throughout western Washington.
Working knowledge of computers and experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and Word. .
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Work independently as well as part of a team.Effective oral and written communication skills.
Strong organization/time management skills.
